Kiva

It's my birthday. So I've been thinking about what I'd like for my birthday this year. I am so lucky and really appreciative of everything I have at this moment. So if you'd like to celebrate my birthday with me. Please take a look at Kiva.

Kiva is an online lending website. I came across it through Nerdfighteria. This is charity on a global scale. You can choose who you loan your money to, to help someone across the world rent a school room, buy a vehicle to increase their business, buy a cow etc.

The great thing about this website is you can choose where your money is going.

Load up some money that you would like to lend (let's say £50). That money gets lent through Kiva to the company/people that you choose. Many of the people on Kiva are unable to get loans from a bank because their income isnt in a high enough pay bracket.

The repayments on your money comes into your Kiva account (kinda like paypal). Once you have enough repayments you can REUSE that money. If you wanted you could put a one off payment of £25 and reuse the money to help people around the world countless times!

I really like Kiva lending as a system to empower people. It's crowd funding for good.

This is not a sponsored post. I just think if you want to help people that everyone should take a look and I'd like to spread the word as much as possible.
